Do it Best Corp. was founded in 1945 as Hardware Wholesalers, Inc. (HWI) to provide great products at great prices. We now have 4,200 independently owned stores worldwide, ranging from small, single-location hardware stores, to large, multi-location home centers and lumberyards. Our stores have a long tradition of providing great service, with some established in the mid-1800's!
Stores typically carry their own name but often also include the names Do it Best and Do it center as a part of the store signage. Each store is serviced from one of seven distribution centers around the United States but can also get products directly from the manufacturer.
